NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has recently made a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to enact recently installed restrictions that prohibit waiting at any time at the junction of Seaview Road with Bath Road in Worthing.
A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 1 December 2025, together with plans showing the affected lengths of road may be viewed on the WSCC website.
People without access to a computer who wish to view details of the scheme should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive the documents by post.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of this Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from 27 November 2025, apply to the High Court for this purpose. (Littlehampton: Courtwick Road and Selwyn Avenue Amendment) Order 202*
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC proposes to make a permanent Traffic regulation Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time (introduce double yellow lines) on the southern side of Courtwick Road in Littlehampton at its junction with Selwyn Avenue. This restriction would also extend southwards a short distance along both sides of Selwyn Avenue.
Full details of the proposals in this notice can be viewed on the Traffic Regulation Order page of the WSCC website. The website includes a response form for any comments or objections. People without access to a computer who wish to view details of the scheme should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive the documents by post.
Any comments or objections about the proposal must be received before 18 December 2025. These may be submitted via the response form on the website mentioned above, by e-mail to tro.consultation@westsussex.gov.uk or in writing to TRO Team, WSCC, The Grange, Tower Street, Chichester, PO19 1RH.
