St. Williams Close, Proposed 20mph Speed Limit Order
What is happening?
THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
(CAISTER-ON-SEA, ST. WILLIAMS CLOSE) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025
The Norfolk County Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from exceeding 20 miles per hour along the U62050 St. Williams Close from its junction with the U62050 St. Nicolas Drive westwards for a distance of 150 metres including its turning heads.
A copy of the draft Order, a plan and Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be viewed online at www.norfolk.citizenspace.com. Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of Great Yarmouth Borough Council, Hall Plain, Great Yarmouth NR30 2QF during normal office hours. Online viewing is recommended.
Any objections and representations relating to the Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. All correspondence for these proposals must be received at the office of nplaw, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH, marked for the attention of the nplaw Traffic Regulation Order Team by 16th December 2025.
