What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 24 November, Angus Council made The Angus Council (B9134 At Stannochy Bridge) (Temporary Speed Limit) Order 2025 under Sections 14 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 so that any danger to public safety is prevented. The effect of the Order is to prohibit the driving of any vehicle at a speed in excess of 30mph in or on the B9134 Forfar - Aberlemno – Brechin road from a point 1km south-west of its junction with A935 Brechin – Montrose over the entire length of the Stannochy Bridge, a distance of 85m or thereby. The Order will be effective for a period of 18 months. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained. There is no reverse route.
