Horwich, Temporary Road Closure Due To Christmas Light Switch On
What is happening?
CROWN ROUNDABOUT, HORWICH TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994
The Council will make an order, operative from 5:30pm on Friday 5 December 2024, to enable a Christmas Lights Switch-On event to take place. All vehicles not engaged in the event will be prohibited from proceeding on those parts of the public highway fronting the The Crown Hotel. Alternative routes will be via: (westbound) Lee Lane, Winter Hey Lane, Chorley New Rd & (eastbound) Julia St, Chorley New Rd. The order will cease to have effect at 7:30pm on that date or on completion of the event, whichever first occurs.
