What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(CANTERBURY ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road
Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles
from proceeding on Canterbury Road at its junction with
Regent Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken
on 28th November 2025, between the hours of 08:00 and
16:00.
The diversion route is: Pinfold Lane
The Order is required to facilitate the repair of a defective
manhole frame and cover by STW.
