Kings Road - To Introduce A No Waiting At Any Time Restriction
What is happening?
BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
(KINGS ROAD, OSCOTT) (TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 202*
(KINGS ROAD, OSCOTT) (PROHIBITION OF 7.5T HGV) ORDER 202*
(KINGS ROAD, OSCOTT) (MOVEMENT) (TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 202*
NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Council propose to make these Orders under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53, 101 and 102 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended) the effect of which will be as follows:
1. To introduce a No Waiting at any time restriction on a length of KINGS ROAD.
2. To introduce a Prohibition of 7.5t HGV restriction on a length of KINGS ROAD.
3. To introduce a Prohibition of Entry restriction on a length of KINGS ROAD.
Full details of these proposals are in the draft Orders which, together with the plans and a statement of the Council’s reasons for the proposals, will be made available on request (Contact Syed Hassan Tel: 0121 303 5157: email: syed.hassan@birmingham.gov.uk).
Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should write to the Assistant Director – Transport & Connectivity at Place, Prosperity & Sustainability Directorate, Birmingham City Council, PO Box 14439, Birmingham B2 2JE stating the grounds for objection by the 18th December 2025.
