Crackwell Street, Tenby - Temporary restrictions due to maintenance on properties
What is happening?
NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The proposed Order is necessary so that property maintenance works within the vicinity of Goscar House can be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic other than exempted vehicles from proceeding along that section of Crackwell Street, Tenby - from a point near the property known as Lower Anchorage, northwest to a point near the property known as Northcliffe.
It is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into effect on Monday 5th January 2026 for approximately 4 weeks. Crackwell Street is one way in a northwest bound direction. The alternative route for traffic will be via Bridge Street, St Julians Street, Tudor Square, High Street and Crackwell Street.
The One Way Order affecting Crackwell Street will be temporarily suspended to enable limited two way traffic to properties located along its length.
The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months as a contingency should the works need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
