THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
WOODGATES LANE, NORTH FERRIBY (PART)

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Woodgates Lane, North Ferriby (between Woodgates Close and Woodlands Rise). The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed new water connection works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.

It is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 12 December 2025. The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via the remainder of Woodgates Lane, Mill Road, West Leys Road, Swanland Hill and High Street, North Ferriby. The road will be closed to all through traffic but remain open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.

The Order will commence Tuesday 9 December 2025 (between 08.00 hours and 20.00 hours) and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
