M1 Motorway - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic To Resurfacing Work

THE M1 MOTORWAY (LEICESTER FOREST EAST MOTORWAY SERVICE AREA) (SLIP ROAD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an Order on the M1 Motorway, in the County of Leicestershire, to enable resurfacing work to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close the slip road leading from the northbound carriageway of the M1 to Leicester Forest East Service Area, north of M1 Junction 21.
The work will be carried out between 21:00 hours and 06:00 and is expected to start on Monday 08 December 2025 and continue for two nights. The Order will come into force on 01 December 2025.
Vehicles being used in connection with the work will be exempt from the closure.
