Notice is hereby given that on 21/11/25 The North Yorkshire Council (hereinafter referred to as ”the Council” in exercise of their powers under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the 1984 Act”) & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004 (“the 2004 Act”), made an Order, the effect of which will be to revoke those Orders set out in schedule 3 below & introducing the restriction specified in Schedule 1 & 2 below; Schedule 1 – Waiting Prohibited At All Times With Exemptions Avenue Grove (U36), Harrogate, North west side from its junction with Prospect Road to a point 3 metres south west of its junction with Prospect Road. If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks of 21 st November 2025 make application to the High Court for the purpose. Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Borrage Lane & King Street, Ripon, No 44, Order 2025 Notice is hereby given that on 21/11/25 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the 1984 Act”) & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004 (“the 2004 Act”) by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below: Waiting Prohibited At All Times With Exemptions Borrage Lane, Ripon (U3047/2/70) from where the Northern Kerb Line intersects with Low Skellgate to a point 29m away in a South Westerly Direction, following the Northern kerb Line. Borrage Lane, Ripon (U3047/2/70) from where the Southern Kerb Line intersects with Low Skellgate to a point 16m away in a South Westerly Direction, following the Southern kerb Line. 40 mph Speed Limit Extension, B6451, Menwith Hill Order 2026 Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 40 mph on any length of road specified below:- B6451 from a point 150 metres south of the Steeplebush Gate of RAF Menwith Hill in a southerly direction for 60 metres.
