What is happening?

FOOTPATH CLOSURE EXTENSION
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.39 (WHOLE), NO.40 (PART), NO.41 (WHOLE), NO.43 (PART) & NO.88 (WHOLE) KILLAMARSH
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 29 May 2025 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which was to close the whole of footpath No.39, No.41 and No.88. Close footpath No.40 from the junction with footpath No.39 for approx. 382m. Close footpath No.43 from the junction with footpath No.39 for approx. 295m, has been further continued. No alternative route is recommended. The public footpaths will be closed until 30 November 2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner, to allow for public safety during construction works.
