What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(ORMES LANE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Ormes Lane between properties 31-39.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken on 8 December 2025, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30.
The diversion route is: Church Road, Wood Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate overhead cable works by BT.
