Spring Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
SPRING LANE, ELMTON
WHEN: 12 December 2025 (09:30 to 15:30).
WHERE: Spring Lane, Elmton between its Jct. with the B6417 Mansfield Road to its Jct. with Main Road.
REASON: To facilitate telegraph pole testing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Main Road, Oxpasture Lane, Mag Lane, Whaley Common, Whaley Road, B6417 Mansfield Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
