What is happening?

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL
((PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (B4386, WORTHEN) (AMENDMENT) ORDER



Shropshire Council proposes to introduce the following parking restrictions on the B4386 in Worthen:

Prohibition of Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings Monday-Friday 8:15am-9:15am and 3:15pm-4:15 pm
B4386 From a point 15 metres west of the centre of the access to Long Mountain C of E Primary School for a distance of 31 metres in an easterly direction.
No Waiting or Loading at Any Time
B4386 From a point in line with the property boundary of number 2 and number 3 Brockton Meadow to a point 45 metres northeast of the property boundary of number 4 and number 5 Brockton Meadow.

(SPEED LIMITS) (PART 1) ORDER 2007 (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to introduce the following speed limits in and around Worthen:
Variable 20mph/30mph when indicated by signing
No person may drive any motor vehicle, other than an exempted vehicle, at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour on the length of road named below during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs. At all other times,
the length specified shall be subject to a 30mph speed limit.
B4386 From a point in line with the property boundary of number 4 and number 5 Brockton Meadow to a point 5 metres east of the easternmost property boundary of Terraine, Worthen, SY5 9HT.
30mph Speed Limit
B4386 From a point 156 metres west of its junction with the B4499 Brockton to Minsterley Road to a point in line with the property boundary of number 4 and number 5 Brockton Meadow.
B4386 From a point 5 metres east of the easternmost property boundary of Terraine, Worthen, SY5 9HT to a point 315 metres north-east of its junction with the Unclassified Road which leads in the direction of Hamptonhayes.
Brookside That length of Brookside from its junction with the B4386 Shrewsbury to Montgomery Road in a general southerly direction to its junction with Millstream.
Oakfield Close In its entirety.
The Hawthorns In its entirety.
The unclassified road from the B4386 leading to Hampton
Beach From its junction with the B4386 Shrewsbury to Montgomery Road to a point 130 metres north-west
of its junction with Oakfield Cottages.

Any existing speed limits at the above locations will be revoked.
