ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(WINDERMERE AVENUE, SW19)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Kenley Road, Grasmere Avenue and Crown Lane or via Crown Lane, A24 London Road and Kenley Road.
Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 1st December 2025 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on Friday 12th December 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(BATHGATE ROAD, SW19)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate water leakage survey works in Bathgate Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:–
(a) enter or proceed in Bathgate Road, between the common boundary of Nos. 37 and 39 Bathgate Road and the north-eastern boundary of No. 41 Bathgate Road; or
(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended.
The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
The Order would come into operation on Monday 1st December 2025 and it is anticipated that the works would be carried out from 10pm on 1st December 2025 until 5am on 2nd December 2025. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
SECTIONS 14(1) AND 15(8)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(MANOR WAY, MITCHAM)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that because it is expedient to carry out footway reconstruction and maintenance works in Manor Way, Mitcham, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to continue in force the provisions of a temporary notice issued under section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 temporarily restricting traffic in Manor Way, Mitcham.
During the works, no person will:–
(a) proceed on the footways either side of Manor Way, between its junction with Rowan Road and its junction with Tamworth Lane; or
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading a vehicle, in Manor Way, between its junction with Rowan Road and its junction with Tamworth Lane.
N.B. The works will be carried out under a rolling programme of parking suspensions and footway closures to minimise inconvenience to residents.
The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(b) above shall be suspended for the duration of the works when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.
Pedestrian traffic affected by a footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.
Nothing in the Order will apply: –
(a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, or a police community support officer in uniform, or Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(b) to any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or
(c) to the police, fire brigade or ambulance services, subject to site conditions; or
(d) so as to prevent pedestrian access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
The Order will come into operation on Saturday 22nd November 2025 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 19th December 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 3 months should further works be required.
