ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(CAMBRIDGE ROAD, OAKWOOD ROAD AND RICHMOND ROAD, SW20)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
(ii) Richmond Road, from its junction with Cambridge Road, south-eastward for a distance of 15 metres; or
(iii) Oakwood Road, from its junction with Cambridge Road, northward for a distance of 15 metres;
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraphs (a)(i), (ii) and (iii) above.
(NB. The works in Cambridge Road would be carried out on a rolling basis to minimise disruption to residents).
Any designated parking place situated in the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraphs 2(a)(i) to (iii) above would be suspended for the duration of the works in those roads or lengths of road.
The restrictions and suspensions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Vehicular traffic affected by:-
(a) the Cambridge Road closure should proceed using Coombe Lane and Durham Road or vice-versa;
(b) the Oakwood Road closure should proceed using Cambridge Road, Durham Road and Cottenham Park Road or vice-versa;
(c) the Richmond Road closure should proceed using Cambridge Road, Coombe Lane and Durham Road or vice-versa.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
Nothing in the Order would apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
The Order would come into operation on Friday 2nd January 2026 and it is anticipated the works would be completed by 6th February 2026. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

(MANOR ROAD AND WIDE WAY, MITCHAM)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice, that to facilitate utility connection works in Manor Road and Wide Way, Mitcham, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said roads.
During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-
(a) Manor Road, both sides, from its junction with Wide Way south-westward to a point 2 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 195 and 197 Manor Road;
(b) Wide Way, both sides, from its junction with Manor Road south-eastward to the common boundary of Nos. 6 and 8 Wide Way.
Any designated parking place or loading bay situated in the roads or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended.
The restrictions and suspensions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Nothing in the Order will apply to: –
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
The Order will come into operation on Thursday 4th December 2025 and it anticipated the restrictions will be in place until Wednesday 10th December 2025 inclusive. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should the restrictions be further required.

(ERRIDGE ROAD, KESWICK AVENUE, POPLAR ROAD AND STRATTON ROAD, SW19)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice, that to facilitate lead pipe replacement works in Erridge Road, Keswick Avenue, Poplar Road and Stratton Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said roads.
During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:–
(a) Erridge Road, both sides, for its entire length;
(b) Keswick Avenue, both sides, for its entire length;
(c) Poplar Road, both sides, for its entire length;
(d) Stratton Road, both sides, for its entire length.
Any designated parking place situated in the roads or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended.
The restrictions and suspensions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(CAROLINE ROAD, DRAXMONT AND MONMOUTH CLOSE)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate a programme of carriageway resurfacing and general maintenance works to be undertaken in the roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice, they have made an Order, the effect of which, during the works, will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, proceeding or waiting, including in any parking places, in those roads or lengths of roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice.
Any designated parking place situated in any of the roads or lengths of roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice will be suspended for the duration of the works in those roads or lengths of road.
Alternative routes for diverted traffic will be indicated by advance warning and diversion signs in the roads affected when the works are in progress.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
Nothing in the Order will apply to:–
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or lengths of roads insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
The Order will come into force on Wednesday 3rd December 2025 and the anticipated work dates are specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this notice. However, the Order will remain in operation for a maximum period of 12 months and during which its provisions will be re-introduced should further works be required.

(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate drainage connection works in Windermere Avenue, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
During the works, no person will:–
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Windermere Avenue, from its junction with Crown Lane northward to the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Windermere Avenue; or
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.
The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
