(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than seven days from the date of this WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
(i) Fleming Way (westbound) from Fleming Way roundabout junction to the A23; and then
(ii) Hazelwick Avenue (northbound) from Hazelwick Avenue to Northgate roundabout junction; and
(iii) North Road, from Hazelwick Avenue (northbound) south-westwards for 40m; and then
(iv) The Birches, between Hazelwick Avenue and Mill Road The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst new electrical cables are installed.
The Order will come into effect on 12 December 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed. The works are expected to commence in Fleming Way on or after 12 December and be completed by 24 December 2025. The works in Hazelwick Avenue (northbound) and North Road will take place between 5 January and 13 February 2026. The works in The Birches will take place between 16 February and 10 April 2026.
