Tower Hamlets, Temporary Road Closures Due To Development Works & Crane Operations

What is happening?

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF TOWER HAMLETS ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

WHITE POST LANE (REVOCATION ORDER 2025) – NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 made an order which currently prohibits vehicular and pedestrian traffic from entering, stopping or proceeding, the following temporary prohibition:

Location: White Post Lane, east from 29A White Post Lane to its junction with the eastern arm of White Post Lane.

Background: The original order which came into force on the 28th of April 2025 is currently in place to facilitate development works carried out by Ardmore Regeneration Limited.

Reason for Revocation: The Council has determined that the developer has failed to adhere to an agreed timeline of programme of works.

Effective Date of the Revocation order: Thursday 27th November 2025.

All temporary traffic restrictions, prohibitions and diversions imposed under the previous order shall cease to have effect. ARNOLD ROAD – NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets proposes to make an order which will prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, stopping, or proceeding, the following temporary prohibition:

Location: Jerram Falkus Site, 3-5 Arnold Road London E3 4NT

Reason: For mobile crane operations outside the Jerram Falkus Site to dismantle their tower crane and to allow the plant to be completely scaffolded. The works are to be carried out on the public highway by Falcon Tower Crane Services Ltd.

Period: Tuesday 2nd December from 06:30 hours to Wednesday 3rd December 19:00 hours.

Alternative Route: For vehicular traffic will be via Bow Road, Minton’s Grove and Vice Versa.
