ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Newcastle Road, Weston and Crewe Green for the full extent
East Avenue, Weston and Crewe Green for the full extent
Sydney Road, Weston and Crewe Green for the full extent
Old Park Road, Weston and Crewe Green for the full extent

This order will come into operation on Monday 5th January 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 30th January 2026.

This order will come into operation on Monday 15th December 2025 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 26th December 2025.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Cheshire Street, Audlem
Notice Is Hereby Given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Cheshire Street, Audlem from the junction of Crown Mews to the junction of Shropshire Street.
The alternative route will be via Cheshire Street, Audlem Road, Bridgemere Lane, Crewe Road, Broad Lane, Peter De Stapleigh Way, London Road, Nantwich Road, Woore Road, Stafford Street and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 30th March 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Wednesday 30th April 2026.
