What is happening?

ROYAL BOROUGH OF KINGSTON UPON THAMES ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames propose to make the following Order The Kingston upon Thames (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. *) Order 202* under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 (insofar as applicable) to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and all other powers thereunto enabling.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to:- introduce waiting restrictions operating 'at any time' (double yellow lines) in Windrush, New Malden at its junction with California Road

3. Copies of the proposed Order, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order and draft map schedules showing the location and the effect of the proposals may be inspected from 20 November 2025 as follows:-

(a) online at https://consultation.appyway.com/kingston-upon-thames selecting MapKing0119a - Parking Batch 5

(b) Council libraries; or

(c) copies of the draft Order and draft map schedules can also be obtained by calling 020 8547 5000 (between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday)

4. Comments to the proposed Order can be submitted either electronically via the link provided in paragraph 3(a) or in writing to the Traffic Order Team, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU please quote ref MapKing0119a. The consultation closes 4 December 2025
