TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 9, MARTLESHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 9, Martlesham at the railway crossing to facilitate track renewal works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be The Street, Top Street, Footpath 9A and vice versa.
It is intended that the closures will operate from:
? 21/11/2025 - 24/11/2025 from 12am - 6.25am
? 28/11/2025 - 01/12/2025 from 12am - 6.25am.
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C211 LANGHAM ROAD, FARNHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C211 Langham Road, Farnham from 20 metres northbound and 20 metres southbound of the level crossing to facilitate a bridge examination. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Botany Farm Drive, the A1094, the B1069, Duck Farm Road, Langham Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 10pm on 30/11/2025 - 5am on 01/12/2025.
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C685 STANNINGFIELD ROAD, GREAT WHELNETHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C685 Stanningfield Road, Great Whelnetham from 75 metres north of The Old Rectory for 90 metres northbound to facilitate tree cutting. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Tutelin Road, the A134, Chapel Road, Hoggards Green, Bury Road, Bells Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate 21/11/2025 from 9.30am – 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

It is intended that the closure will operate from 21/11/2025 – 04/12/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON PART OF THE U1023 SILENT STREET, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U1023 Silent Street, Ipswich from St Nicholas Street for 65 metres north eastbound to facilitate stop tap replacements. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be St Nicholas Street, Cutler Street, Franciscan Way, Greyfriars Road, Bridge Street, Greyfriars Road, Franciscan Way, Princes Street, Friars Street, Falcon Street and no vice versa.
For the duration of this closure there will also be a temporary suspension of one-way traffic on the U1023 Silent Street, Ipswich to allow access and egress.
It is intended that these measures will operate from 02/12/2025 – 03/12/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1141 ROAD FROM HADLEIGH TO THE A134, WATER STREET AND BRENT ELEIGH ROAD, SEMER AND LAVENHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A1141 road from Hadleigh to the A134, Semer from Hollows Trees Farm to the junction with Watsons Hill to facilitate telecommunications pole and overhead cabling works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A1141, the A134, the A1071, the A1141 and vice versa.
For the duration of this closure there will also be a temporary suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the following roads:
? the A1141 Water Street, Lavenham from the junction with High Street to Brent Eleigh Road
? the A1141 Brent Eleigh Road, Lavenham from Water Street to no. 1 Brent Eleigh Road.
It is intended that these measures will operate on 30/11/2025 from 7am – 12 midday but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
