What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE C233 BRUISYARD ROAD, CRANSFORD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C233 Bruisyard Road, Cransford from Mil House to the junction with Low Road to facilitate a telegraph pole replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Bruisyard Road, the B1119, Lodge Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/12/2025 - 02/12/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE F4977 FOOTWAY

BETWEEN JERMYNS TO WINDSOR ROAD, RAYDON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the F4977 Footway between Jermyns to Windsor Road, Reydon to facilitate a gas main replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Windsor Road, Green Lane, Covert Road, Jermyns Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/12/2025 - 12/12/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE U1630 MARLBOROUGH ROAD

AND HOTSON ROAD, SOUTHWOLD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

* U1630 Marlborough Road, Southwold from the junction with Pier Avenue to the junction with Field Stile Road

* U1630 Hotson Road, Southwold from the junction with Marlborough Road East for 10 metres westbound.

This is to facilitate gas main replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Field Stile Road, North Parade, Pier Avenue and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/12/2025 - 12/12/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

THE B1116 HARLESTON ROAD AND

HARLESTON HILL, FRESSINGFIELD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

* B1116 Harleston Road, Fressingfield

* B1116 Harleston Hill, Fressingfield.

This is to facilitate trial holes for water works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1116, the B1123, the A144, the B1117, and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/12/2025 - 05/12/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE C218 WALPOLE ROAD, COOKLEY

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C218 Walpole Road, Cookley from the junction with the B1117 to the junction with Halesworth Road to facilitate replacing a telegraph pole. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Halesworth Road, the B1117 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/12/2025 - 02/12/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
