Speed Ramps Consultation

The council proposes to construct speed ramps to accommodate the proposed pedestrian crossings (zebras) and to reduce the speed of vehicles at the following locations:

Owen Street outside No.69 (Job Centre); 8.50; 7.20; 75

Owen Street outside No.86 (Golden House Chinese Takeaway); 13.0; 7.95; 75

Owen Street outside No.1 (HGH); 8.50; 7.95; 75

Objections in writing, stating your grounds, to: Simon Chadwick, at address shown below or email to: Tipton_Feedback@sandwell.gov.uk by 19/12/2025 The council also proposes to make The Borough Council of Sandwell (Owen Street, Tipton) (20mph Zone) Order 2026 to prohibit any vehicle exceeding a speed of 20mph on the roads as shaded on plan number 83,942 S/4.
