HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor BwrdeistrefSirol Caerffili, wrth weithredu ei bwerau o dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a'r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, ac ar ill ymgynghori a PhrifSwyddog yr Heddlu, yn bwriadu gwneud y Gorchymyn uchod a fydd a'r effaith o ddirymu a chyflwyno'r terfynau cyflymder a ganlyn:

Cynnig i ddirymu'r terfyn cyflymder heb ei gyfyngu presennol B4263 Mountain Road, Caerffili - rhwng y terfyn cyflymder 20mya presennol gyferbyn a rhif 41 Mountain Road ac A469 Mountain Road/Watford Road, sef pellter o tua 919m.

A469 Watford Road, Caerffili - rhwng y gyffordd a B4263 Mountain Road a man tua 160m i'r gorllewin o'r gyffordd honno.

A469 Mountain Road, Caerffili - rhwng y gyffordd a B4263 Mountain Road a'r terfyn cyflymder 40mya presennol tua 200m i'r dwyrain o'r gyffordd honno. Cynnig i ddarparu terfyn cyflymder 40mya B4263 Mountain Road, Caerffili - rhwng y terfyn cyflymder 20mya presennol gyferbyn a rhif 41 Mountain Road ac A469 Mountain Road/Watford Road, sef pellter o tua 919m.

SPEED LIMITS TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2023 (AMENDMENT NO 2) 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the Caerphilly County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 and all other enabling powers and after consulting with the Chief Officer of Police propose to make the above Order the effect of which will be to revoke and introduce the following speed limits:

Proposed revocation of existing derestricted speed limit B4263, Mountain Road, Caerphilly- between the existing 20mph speed limit opposite No 41 Mountain Road and the A469 Mountain Road /Watford Road, a distance of approximately 919m.

A469, Watford Road, Caerphilly- between its junction with B4263 Mountain Road and a point approx. 160m west of that junction.

A469, Mountain Road, Caerphilly- between its junction with B4263 Mountain Road and the existing 40mph speed limit, approximately 200m east of that junction.

Proposed provision of 40mph speed limit

B4263, Mountain Road, Caerphilly- between the existing 20mph speed limit opposite No 41 Mountain Road and the A469 Mountain Road /Watford Road, a distance of approximately 919m.

A469, Watford Road, Caerphilly- between its junction with B4263 Mountain Road and a point approx. 160m west of that junction.

A469, Mountain Road, Caerphilly- between its junction with B4263 Mountain Road and the existing 40mph speed limit, approximately 200m east of that junction.

A copy of the draft Order, plans showing the parts of the highway affected and a statement of the traffic authority's reasons for making the Order can be viewed at www. caerphilly.gov.uk/TrafficRegulationsOrders and may also be inspected free of charge by appointment at Caerphilly County Borough Council Legal Services, Penallta House, Tredomen Park, Ystrad Mynach, Hengoed, CF82 7PG between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays and public holidays) from 26/11/2025 to 18/12/2025 quoting reference SCF.501929.
