East Cambridgeshire, Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closures due to Mainenance and Utility Works

NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

Church Lane, Ely Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2088

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Church Lane, Ely as lies between Nos. 16 & 18. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1382; High St; Minster Pl; The Gallery; Silver St & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate meter maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/5/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs & 18:00hrs on 1/12/25.

Laburnum Lane, Burwell Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2089

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Laburnum Lane, Burwell as lies between Nos. 4 & 6. The alternative route for vehicles is via Newnham Ln, Hythe Ln, Low Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate meter maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 3/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 2/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs & 18:00hrs on 3/12/25.

Downham Byway 43, Little Downham

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2094

Is to stop any vehicle, pedestrian, equestrian & cyclist from proceeding along Downham Byway 43, Little Downham as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The alternative route for vehicle, pedestrian, equestrian & cyclist will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 13/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 12/6/25 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 23:00hrs 13/12 & 08:30hrs 14/12/25.

Station Road, Isleham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2125

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road, Isleham as lies between No.31 & B1102. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1102; A1101; B1382; B1104 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate reinstatement of access points & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/5/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/12 & 3/12/25.

The Row, Sutton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2153

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along The Row, Sutton as lies between Nos.115 & 120. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1381; The Row & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new gas connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/12/25 & continue until these works have finished on the 31 May 2027 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/12 & 5/12/25.

Beck Road C144, Isleham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2171

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Beck Road, Isleham as lies between No.106 & Sheldricks Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via Sheldricks Rd; The Causeway; Beck Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate reinstatement of access points & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 15/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 14/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 15/12 & 19/12/25.

The Vineyards, Ely Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2192

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along The Vineyards, Ely as lies between Nos. 20 & 24. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate stop tap replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 9/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 8/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 9/12 & 11/12/25.

Thirlwall Drive, Fordham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2231

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Thirlwall Drive, Fordham as lies between Newport Avenue & B1085. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1085; B1102; Newport Ave & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway & drainage maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 16/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 15/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 16/12 & 17/12/25.

Broad Piece, Soham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2241

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Broad Piece, Soham as lies between Kingfisher Drive & Access To Slacks Bridge. The alternative route for vehicles is via The Cotes; Blockmoor Rd; Barway Rd; A142; The Shade; Kingfisher Dr & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gully cleaning & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 5/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 4/6/27 whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs & 17:00hrs on 5/12/25.

Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders.

The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire & Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
