Park Road (D5526) Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 21 November 2025, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Park Road (D5526) Haslemere as extends from the western boundary of the property known as “Greycoats” to the eastern boundary of the property known as “Hope House”.
Alternative route – Old Haslemere Road, Scotland Lane, A286 (Midhurst Road) and Hill Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to enable M Group Water to facilitate water and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 8 December 2025 for 10 days between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures, which are anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.
Old Lane (D120) Dockenfield
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Old Lane (D120) Dockenfield which extends from its junction with Heath Hill (D121) to its junction with High Thicket Road (D120). This Order is required to enable Barr Engineering Services Limited to facilitate pole installation works. The Order will commence on 16 December 2025 for a period of 12 months however the works are anticipated to be completed within 1 day between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained at all times as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. Alternative Route – High Thicket Road, The Street, Old Lane or the same route in reverse.
Whitmore Vale Road (D5500) Hindhead
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Whitmore Vale Road (D5500) Hindhead as extends from its junction with Churt Road (A287) to the access for the access for the property known as “Creech House”.
Alternative route – Whitmore Vale Road, B3002 (Headley Road), A333 (Portsmouth Road) and A287 (Tilford Road and Churt Road), or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable M Group Telecom to facilitate a pole replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 16 January 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.
