Stafford – Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic For Fibre Cabling Works

What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 25/11/25 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

Drointon Lane, Grindley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=GB146428842. The Order will come into operation on 1/12/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 2/12/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new water connection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Elford Close, Stafford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=GB145705353. The Order will come into operation on 2/12/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 4/12/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the overhead fibre cabling works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Fairoak Bank, Stafford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=143678534. The Order will come into operation on 28/11/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole renewal works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Meadow Drive, Haughton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=GB145917280. The Order will come into operation on 3/12/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 5/12/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new connection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Main Road, Colwich. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=GB145929363. The Order will come into operation on 01/12/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 2/12/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the fencing installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Aston Lane, Aston By Stone. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=GB145537737. The Order will come into operation on 3/12/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the tree trimming works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Stafford Road, Walton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=GB145476169. The Order will come into operation on 30/11/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

TEMPORARY 40 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from exceeding a speed limit of 40 mph along:

B5066 Sandon Road, Hopton. For more information regarding timings please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB145947492. The Order will come into operation on 15/12/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT pole renewal works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
