B2070 Portsmouth Road, Bramshott And Liphook, East Hampshire - Temporary Road Closure due to bridge inspection
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of B2070 Portsmouth Road between its junction with Wheatsheaf Enclosure and a point approximately 100 Metres North of said junction.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The Square, B2131, A3, B3006, Station Road, Hill Brow Road, London Road
DURATION OF ORDER: from 11th December 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 night, working between the hours 22:00 – 06:00).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Safer Roadworks to carry out bridge inspection.
