Rochdale - Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time Order

BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE

(CHRISTMAS LIGHTS EVENT, LITTLEBOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Station Road, from its junction with Church Street to its junction with Peel Street.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Station Road, from its junction with Church Street to its junction with Peel Street.
(iii) Suspend those parts of the Borough of Rochdale (Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Pennines Township) Order 2008 along those sections of Highway specified in the temporary prohibition of waiting at any time in this order.
The Order is required to facilitate the Littleborough Christmas Lights Event 2025 within the carriageway.
The Prohibition of Vehicles will be operative from 14:00 hours until 19:00 hours on 29th November 2025.
The Prohibition of Waiting will be operative from 12:00 hours until 19:00 hours on 29th November 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Church Street, Morgan Street, Peel Street, Station Road and vice versa.

(BRIDGE NORTH DRIVE & GREENBANK DRIVE, LITTLEBOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(1) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
i. Bridge North Drive from its junction with Smithy Bridge Road for its entire length
ii. Greenbank Drive from its junction with Bridge North Drive for its entire length.
The Order is required to facilitate the opportunity to host a street gathering, placing priority on residents & the pupils, parents & staff of Smithy Bridge Primary School.
The Order will be operative from 08:30 on the 27th November 2025 until 17:30 on the 27th November 2025.
There is no alternative route for vehicles.

(SMITHY BRIDGE ROAD, LITTLEBOROUGH (6)) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Smithy Bridge Road from a point 15 metres north west of the level crossing for a distance of 40 metres in a south easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate safe maintenance works to the Railway Level Crossing.
The Order will be operative from 00:10 on the 14th December 2025 until 05:30 on the 14th December 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Smithy Bridge Road, Milnrow Road (Littleborough), Wildhouse Lane, Kiln Lane, Bridge Street, Rochdale Road, Milnrow Road (Rochdale), Albert Royds Street, Halifax Road (A58), Smithy Bridge Road & vice versa.
