Low Catton Road, Stamford Bridge - Temporary Traffic Regulation

What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
LOW CATTON ROAD, STAMFORD BRIDGE

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will
be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Low
Catton Road, Stamford Bridge between the junctions
of High Catton Road and Fossway commencing
15 December 2025 to allow for carriageway
maintenance works. The road closure is necessary
to enable the works to be carried out in a manner
consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The
Order is valid for eighteen months but it is anticipated
that the works will be completed by 16 December
2025. The alternative route for traffic affected by the
road closure will be via Church Lane, High Catton Road
and vice versa. The diversion route will be signed at the
time of closure. The road will be closed to all traffic
but access will be maintained for emergency vehicles,
residents and pedestrians.
