Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

WORMLEIGHTON ROAD, PRIORS HARDWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable works to lay a new gas service. Order Commences: 24 November 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 27 November 2025. Access & Diversion: Wormleighton Road, Welsh Road, Church End and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Castle Hill.

Reason for Order: Structural Patching and associated works, 08.00hrs - 16.00hrs.

Order Commences: 27 November 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 27 November 2025.

Access & Diversion: No diversion.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable telegraph pole replacement. Order Commences: 27 November 2025 for up to 18 months Anticipated Completion: 27 November 2025. Access & Diversion: Amherst Road, Berkeley Road, Malthouse Lane and vice versa.

HIGH CROSS LANE, ROWINGTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To enable phased water mains renewal works.

Phase 1 – 24 November to 20 December 2025.

Phase 2 – 4 January 2026 to 24 January 2026.

Order Commences: 24 November 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 24 January 2026.

Access & Diversion: Holywell, Lye Green, The Cumsey, Shrewley Common, Back Lane and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Queen Street.

Anticipated Completion: 12 December 2025.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Telegraph pole replacement and cabling works.

Order Commences: 24 November 2025 for up to 18 months.

Access & Diversion: Welsh Road, Radford Road, Village Street, School Hill and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic in its entirety from Brese Avenue.

Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction, carriageway patching and associated works, 0800 - 1700hrs weekdays only. Order Commences: 24 November 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 12 December 2025.

A429 COVENTRY ROAD, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between St John’s and Primrose Hill. In addition, the 7.5t environmental weight restriction between St Nichols Church Street and Crompton Street will be temporarily suspended. Reason for Order: Carriageway surfacing works, overnight 20.00hrs - 06.00hrs.

Order Commences: 22 November 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 23 November 2025.

Access & Diversion: Via St John’s, St Nicholas Church Street, Castle Hill, Jury Street, High Street, West Street, Stratford Road, Longbridge Roundabout, Warwick Bypass (A46), Blacklow Roundabout, Coventry Road.

Via Coventry Road, Kenilworth Bypass (A46), Warwick Bypass (A46), Longbridge Roundabout, Stratford Road, West Street, High Street, Jury Street, Castle Hill, Smith Street, St John’s, Coventry Road. Access will be maintained to adjacent properties, except 21 - 21A Coventry Road, and 70 - 78 Coventry Road where access cannot be maintained due to the activities taking place on site.

Order Effect: Road closed eastbound from St Johns to Farmer Ward Road.

Reason for Order: Electrical network reinforcement works.

Order Commences: 12 December 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 14 December 2025.

Access & Diversion: St Johns, Warwick Road, Waverley Road, Priory Road, Rosemary Hill, Bridge Street, New Street, Manor Road, Park Road, Park Hill, Windy Arbour, Birches Lane and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed between its junction with A452 Warwick Road.

Reason for Order: Electrical network reinforcement works.

Order Commences: 12 December 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 14 December 2025. Access & Diversion: Whites Row, St Johns Street, Warwick Road and vice versa.

Reason for Order: Works to install new ducting.

Order Commences: 10 December 2025 for up to 18 months.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To enable works for replacement of a telegraph pole.

Order Commences: 9 December 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 9 December 2025.

Access & Diversion: Penns Lane, Main Street, Old Fosse Way and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Preston Road to Preston Fields Lane.

Anticipated Completion: 8 December 2025. Access & Diversion: Preston Road, Henley Road, and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Hadden Road.

Anticipated Completion: 24 December 2025.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
