(30mph Speed Limit) Order 202*
NOTICE is hereby given that East Sussex County Council propose to make an Order under Sections 84 (1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, which would amend the speed limit in the following length of road;
Schedule One – 30 mph Speed Limit
C690 Camberlot from its junction with the C39 Coldharbour Road, Upper Dicker Road northwards to a point 163 metres north of the boundary between nos. 3 and 4 Crossways Cottages.

To allow BT Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Limes Lane – from the junction with U7504 Framfield Road to the junction with A272 High Street.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U7504 Framfield Road – A272 High Street and vice versa.
The Order commences 5 December 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 5 December 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow O2 to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Cameron Close – for its entire length.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 26 November 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 09:30hrs to 14:30hrs on 26 November 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Houndean Rise – from no. 47 to the junction with U5102 Southdown Avenue.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U5102 Houndean Rise and vice versa.
The Order commenced 15 September 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 27 November 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025
To allow Rock Power Connections to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Footpath Closure
South Coast Road – from the junction with U5930 Central Avenue to the junction with U5931 Ambleside Avenue.

The East Sussex (U7726/C39 Waterloo Square/High Street/North Street, Alfriston)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow CityFibre to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following lengths of road;
Temporary Road Closures
Waterloo Square – between the junctions of C39 High Street, U7726 West Street and C39 North Street.
High Street – from the junction with U7728 Weavers Lane to the junction with U7726 Waterloo Square.
North Street – from the junction with C39 Waterloo Square to the junction with Lullington Road.
