EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(West Donnington Street, Darvel) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025

On 25th November 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to undertake resufacing works.

Temporary Road Closure – West Donnington Street, Darvel - From its junction with New Street to its junction with Quoting Green Road.

The Order commences on 06 December 2025 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 06 December 2025 at 08:00 with the closure remaining in place until 14 December 2025 at 17:00.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.

An alternative route will be signed via New Street, A71 West Main Street, Quoting Green Road and Vice Versa.

EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Shields Road, Newmilns) (Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2025

On 25 November 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Carriageway Improvements.

Temporary Road Closure – Shields Road, Newmilns, Full Length. No Waiting At Any Time - Shields Road, Newmilns, Full Length.

The Order commences on 15 December 2025 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 15 December 2025 at 08:00 until 20 December 2025 at 17:00

The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.

EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(C120 Simons Burn Culvert , Kilmarnock) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025

On 25 November 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Parapet Repairs.

Temporary Road Closure – C120 Simons Burn Culvert, Kilmarnock For 5m either side of the bridge.

The Order commences on 08 December 2025 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier.

Road closure will only be in place Monday through to Friday (8th - 12th, 15th - 19th and 22nd - 24th of December) and the road will be re-opened at weekends.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Access for Emergency Services ,residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.

An alternative route will be signed via C120/B7038/A77/B730/B751/C120 and vice versa.

SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Maxwell Street,Troweir Road , Girvan) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2025

On 20 November 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Scottish Water Works.

No Waiting At Any Time - Maxwell Street, Troweir Road, Girvan Maxwell Street - From No.1 to No.31 both sides of carriageway.

Troweir Road - From junction Maxwell Street to junction Nursery Court both sides of carriageway.

The Order commences on 10 December 2025 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 10 December 2025 at 09:00 with the restrictions remaining in place until 19 December 2025 at 23:59. Days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
