(Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No. 40) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 2(4), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53, and Parts IV and Ill of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the Order
To Revoke a length of 'No Waiting Mon-Fri 10am–11am' Restriction Replaced by 'No Stopping Except Buses' (Bus Cage Markings)
Road: Guernsey Gardens
Description: From a point approximately 15 metres south of its junction with Guernsey Gardens south for approximately 23 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting map tiles: TQ740 942 and TQ745 942 Revision 0 to Revision 1
Date of Operation: The Order will come into operation on 28 November 2025

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it was not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may do so by submitting an application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date of the making of the Order or the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Blackwood Chine, South Woodham Ferrers) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Blackwood Chine, South Woodham Ferrers in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 85m north east then north west of its junction with Broughton Road for a distance of approximately 15m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th December 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC0080GEAA1139765RC2DSB – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre cabling works are undertaken by Openreach
No diversion route is available.
The Order will come into effect on 27th November 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) & (Pitsea Bypass, Bowers Gifford) (Temporary Closure of Directional Right-Hand Lanes) (No. 12) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Castle Point and Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule below.
2. To temporarily close the directional right hand lanes from Pitsea Bypass, Bowers Gifford in the Borough of Basildon into Canvey Way, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point.
3. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway as per the schedule for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

The network may be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for residents where practicable. No diversion route is available for the directional lane closure. The closures are scheduled to allow advanced warning signs on the roads of interest to be installed and carried out by Octavius on behalf of National Highways. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Holden Road, Fryerns in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Whitmore Way for a distance of approximately 45m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st December 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2391499 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while kerb line repair and footway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Holden Road, Thynedon Crescent, Whitmore Way, Battleswick and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 13th November 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Kents Hill Road North, Thundersley)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Raymonds Drive, Thundersley in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 20m north west of its junction with Hart Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a north westerly then north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd December 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGJD5G1P – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Raymonds Drive, Hart Road, Park Road, Raymonds Drive and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 13th November 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Rochford as specified in the schedule.
2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway as per the schedule to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only.
