What is happening?

NEATH PORT TALBOT COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
CYNGOR BWRDEISTREF SIROL CASTELL-NEDD PORT TALBOT (MOORLANDS AND MAIN ROAD, DYFFRYN CELLWEN) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING AT ANY TIME) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that the Council on the 18th November 2025 made an Order in pursuance of its powers as contained in Sections 1 and 2 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is as set out in the Schedules below.

A copy of the Order can be inspected on the Council’s Internet Website https://www.npt.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders-tros

The Order will come into force on the 1st December 2025.

If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its powers on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for that purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE

Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Unloading at Any Time

1.1 Moorlands (North West Side)
From its junction with the north eastern kerbline of Main Road for a distance of approximately 2 metres in a north easterly direction.

1.2 Moorlands (South East Side)
From its junction with the north eastern kerbline of Main Road for a distance of approximately 10 metres in a north easterly direction.

1.3 Main Road (North East Side)
From its junction with the north western kerbline of Moorlands for a distance of approximately 15 metres in a north westerly direction.

1.4 Main Road (North East Side)
From its junction with the south eastern kerbline of Moorlands for a distance of approximately 10 metres in a south easterly direction.
