What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING

PROPOSED ORDERS - PARK ROYAL ROAD, Park Royal.

INTENDED CONTROLLED CROSSINGS - PARK ROYAL ROAD & INTENDED SHARED SURFACE - PARK ROYAL ROAD.

The Ealing (Parking Places) (Telephone Parking) (Gypsy Corner-Zone CC) (No. 1, 2015) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*;

The Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the proposed Orders would be to on PARK ROYAL ROAD (Lower Park Road to Standard Road) to: (a) convert single yellow lines to double yellow lines; (b) introduce double yellow lines; (c) shorten an existing shared use parking place by 17 metres.

3. FURTHER NOTICE IS GIVEN The London Borough of Ealing in exercise of the powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to introduce a zebra crossing and associated zig-zag markings on PARK ROYAL ROAD to be located, centre point is 15.7 metres north of the northern kerb-line of Gorst Road.

4. FURTHER NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN The London Borough of Ealing in exercise of the powers under the Highways Act 1980 intends to on PARK ROYAL ROAD, the north-east side, (Lower Park Road to Standard Road): convert sections of the footway to a shared unsegregated surface for cycling and pedestrian traffic.

5. The intention and proposal, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders including plans, are available by e-mail from ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or by inspection at Staff Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made, or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

6. Any objections or other representations about either of the intended changes, or the proposed Orders should be sent in writing by e-mail to ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or by post to Highways Service, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL, quoting reference P068-25 until the 14 January 2026. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should include the address of the author.
