RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD TRWY HYN fod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan Adran 14 (1) (a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 ar 31ain Mai 2023, a ddaeth i rym ar 31ain Mai 2023. Mae’r gorchymyn wedi parhau mewn grym a byddai fel arall yn dod i ben ar 1 Rhagfyr 2025 pe na bai’r cyfarwyddyd am estyniad wedi’i roi.
Mae’r Gorchymyn wedi’i ymestyn ymhellach o dan Awdurdod y Dirprwy Weinidog dros Newid Hinsawdd, sy’n gweithredu o dan awdurdod y Gweinidog dros Newid Hinsawdd, un o Weinidogion Cymru, tan ac yn cynnwys 30 Mai 2026 o dan Adran 15 (5) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991).
Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau Llwybrau Troed 15 (Rhan) a Llwybr Troed 16 (Rhan) Magwyr dros dro fel y nodir ar gynllun y gorchymyn. Gwnaed y gorchymyn a’r estyniad i’r gorchymyn oherwydd gwaith ar y llwybrau. Bydd llwybr amgen ar gael.
Yn rhinwedd Adran 16(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodwyd o dan Adran 14 o’r Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

FOOTPATHS 15 (PART) & 16 (PART) UNDY
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 31st May 2023 MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL made an Order under S14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which came into effect on 31st May 2023. The order has continued in force and would otherwise expire on 1 December 2025 if the direction for an extension had not been given.
The Order has been extended further under the Authority of the Deputy Minister for Climate Change, acting under the authority of the Minister for Climate Change, one of the Welsh Ministers, until and including 30 May 2026 under Section 15 (5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991).
The effect of the Order was to temporarily close Footpaths 15(part) and Footpath 16(Part) Magor as indicated on the order plan. The order and extension to the order has been made due to works on the paths. An alternative route will be available.
By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
