HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Caerffili, wrth weithredu ei bwerau o dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygir), wedi gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd a’r effaith o wahardd cerbydau rhag mynd ar hyd

B4251 Sir Ivor Road, Pontllan-fraith, rhwng y cyffyrdd â B4251 Commercial Street a Penllwyn Avenue am bellter o tua 255 metr.

Disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn arfaethedig gychwyn ar 19 Tachwedd 2025 am gyfnod nid yn fwy na deunaw mis neu nes bod y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gyntaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau erbyn 10 Rhagfyr 2025.

Ni fydd mynediad ar gael i’r gwasanaethau brys na phebyllwyr. Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerbydau brys mewn achosion angen ac i bebyllwyr lle bo’n bosibl.

Mae llwybrau amgen ar hyd Gelli Lane, Gelligroes Road, Commercial Street.

Y rheswm dros wneud y Gorchymyn yw caniatáu gwaith gosod system ddraenio.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Caerphilly County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

B4251 Sir Ivors Road, Pontllanfraith between its junctions with B4251 Commercial Street and Pen-Llwyn Avenue for a distance of approx. 255 metres.

The proposed Order is expected to commence on 19th November 2025 for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated the works will be complete by 10th December 2025.

Access for emergency services and residents will not be maintained. Pedestrian access will be maintained where possible.

Alternative routes are via Gelli Lane, Gelligroes Road, Commercial Street.

The reason for making the Order is to allow for drainage installation works.

The order is required by Caerphilly County Borough Council.
