South Lanarkshire Council

Use of Off Street Parking Places Consolidation Order 2011, Amendment No. 4 Order 2025

South Lanarkshire Council propose to consider the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order thereby introducing restrictions within the following car parks in South Lanarkshire:- Calderwood Community Hall car park, Blackbraes Road, East Kilbride; Carlisle Road car park, Crawford; Carstairs Junction Hall car park, St Charles Avenue, Carstairs Junction; Forth Main Street car park, Forth; John Mann car park, Edinburgh Road, Carnwath; Langlands Court car park, East Kilbride and Smugglers Brig Road car park, Crossford.

Full details of these proposals, which form the proposed South Lanarkshire Council (Use of Off-street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011, Amendment No. 4 Order 2025, together with a plan and statement of reasons for proposing to make this Traffic Regulation Order, are available for inspection on the council’s website.

Any person wishing to object to these proposals should send details of the grounds for objections in writing to the Head of Roads, Transportation and Fleet Services, Council Offices, Floor 6, Almada Street, Hamilton ML3 0AA, or by email to parking.unit@southlanarkshire.gov.uk, by Friday 26 December 2025.
