What is happening?
DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Order, Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Canal Street, Brierley Hill) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Canal Street, Brierley Hill, for the purpose of a new service connection being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 01/12/2025 and will remain in force until 12/12/2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. No diversion is required. Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
