HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:

1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 1af Rhagfyr 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelwyd  bod y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau rhwng 1af Rhagfyr 2025 a’r 30ain Ionawr 2026, gan weithredu rhwng 09:00 – 17:00.  

2. Roedd y Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol er mwyn i Gyfoeth Naturiol Cymru i wneud gwaith sy'n ymwneud â'u gorchymyn Dinistrio ar gyfer clefyd y Llarwydd yng nghoedwigoedd Sorbrook a Granary mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Cedwir mynediad rhesymol i eiddo sy'n wynebu'r darnau o'r ffordd yr effeithir arnynt yn ystod y cyfnod cau.  

3. Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o Heol Darren, Llanddewi, Sir Fynwy, ~405m o'r gyffordd â Heol Treherbert am ~1.45km  

4. Roedd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: Heol Treherbert, A4042, Heol Casnewydd, Lôn Jerwsalem, Heol Sluvad, Heol Ddolen Cronfa Ddŵr Llandegfedd, Heol y Parc, C204.2 Ffordd Coed y Paen i Nant Sor ac i'r gwrthwyneb.

5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Darren, Llanddewi, Sir Fynwy 2025.  

6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984  


MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(DARREN ROAD, LLANTHEWY, MONMOUTHSHIRE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025  


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1. The Order came into operation on the 1st December 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 1st December 2025 and 30th January 2026, operating between 09:00– 17:00.  

2. The order was necessary for Natural Resources  Wales to carry out works relating to their  Destruction order for the Larch in Sorbrook and Granary woods in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.  

3. The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of Darren Road, Llanthewy, Monmouthshire, ~405m from its junction with Tre Herbert Road for ~1.45km.  

4. A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:- Tre-Herbert Road, A4042, Newport Road, Jerusalem Lane, Sluvad Road, Llandegfedd Reservoir Loop Road, Parc Road, C204.2 Coed Y Paen to Sor Brook Road and vice versa.  

5. This order may be cited as the Darren Road, Llanthewy, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025  

6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
