Incline Road, Redbrook, Monmouth - Temporary restrictions for tree cutting works

HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 28ain Tachwedd 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelwyd  bod y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau ar 28ain Tachwedd 2025, gan weithredu rhwng 09:30 – 15:30.  

2. Roedd y Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol er mwyn gwneud gwaith yn torri coed mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Cedwir mynediad rhesymol i eiddo sy'n wynebu'r darnau o'r ffordd yr effeithir arnynt yn ystod y cyfnod cau.  

3. Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o Heol  Incline, Redbrook, Sir Fynwy, ~0.60km o'r gyffordd â’r A466 Heol Redbrook am ~320m.  

4. Roedd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: A466 Heol Redbrook, A4136 Heol Staunton, Heol o'r Gyffordd yn All Saints i'r gyffordd â'r A4136, Heol o'r gyffordd yn Makepeace i'r gyffordd ger Bartlidges Barn, Heol o'r gyffordd yn Cherry Orchard i'r gyffordd yn Staunton, Heol o Goed Swanpool i'r gyffordd â Heol Almhouse, Heol o Ffin y Sir i Goed Swanpool ac i'r gwrthwyneb  

5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol  Incline, Redbrook, Sir Fynwy,  Sir Fynwy 2025.  

6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984  


MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(INCLINE ROAD, REDBROOK, MONMOUTHSHIRE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025  


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1. The Order came into operation on the 28th of November 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 28th of November 2025, operating between 09:30 – 15:30.  

2. The order was necessary for Tree Cutting works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.  

3. The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of Incline Road, Redbrook, Monmouthshire, ~0.60km from its junction with A466 Redbrook Road for ~320m.  

4. A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:- A466 Redbrook Road, A4136 Staunton Road, Road from Junction at All Saints to junction with A4136, Road from junction at Makepeace to junction near Bartlidges Barn, Road from junction at Cherry Orchard to junction at Staunton, Road from Swanpool Wood to junction with Almhouse Road, Road from County Boundary to Swanpool Wood and vice versa.  

5. This order may be cited as the Incline Road, Redbrook, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025  

6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
