HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 2ail Rhagfyr 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelwyd  bod y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau rhwng 2ail Rhagfyr 2025 a’r 5ed Rhagfyr 2025, gan weithredu rhwng 09:30 – 15:30.  

2. Roedd y Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol er mwyn gwneud gwaith ceblau gan BT mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Cedwir mynediad rhesymol i eiddo sy'n wynebu'r darnau o'r ffordd yr effeithir arnynt yn ystod y cyfnod cau.  

3. Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o Heol Gethley, Parkhouse, Sir Fynwy, ~400m o’r gyffordd gyda Heol Parkhouse am ~1.45km.  

4. Roedd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: R94 Llanisien i Groes Tyndyrn, B4293 R92 Tryleg i Cicelford, R92 Ciceliford, Heol Tyndyrn ac i'r gwrthwyneb

5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Gethley, Parkhouse, Sir Fynwy 2025.  

6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(GETHLEY ROAD, PARKHOUSE, MONMOUTHSHIRE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025  


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1. The Order came into operation on the 2nd December 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 2nd December 2025 and 5th December 2025, operating between 09:30– 15:30.  

2. The order was necessary for BT Cabling works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.  

3. The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of Gethley Road, Parkhouse, Monmouthshire , ~400m from its junction with Parkhouse Road for ~1.45km.   

4. A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:- R94 Llanishen to Tintern Cross, B4293 R92 Trellech to Cicelyford, R92 Ciceliford, Tintern Road and vice versa.  

5. This order may be cited as the Gethley Road, Parkhouse, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025  

6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
