Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA
Birling Road, Leybourne, ME19 5HT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Birling Road, Leybourne, on or after 2nd December 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junction of A20 London Road and the junction with Grange Close, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A20 London Road, Roughetts Road, The Street, Birling Road, Ryarsh Road, Bull Road, Birling Road, Leybourne By Pass Roundabout, Birling Road and vice versa.
Blackmans Lane, Hadlow, TN11 0AX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Blackmans Lane, Hadlow, on or after 16th December 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed approximately 150 metres South of Blackmans Farm, for a distance approximately 100 metres in a South direction towards the entrance to Bourneside Farm, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A26 Tonbridge Road, A26 Hadlow Road East, Three Elm Lane, Blackmans Lane and vice versa.
Hill Chase, Walderslade, ME5 9HE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hill Chase, Walderslade, on or after 15th December 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between property number 33 and property number 37. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.
Kiln Barn Road, Ditton, ME20 6FJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow railway bridge repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Kiln Barn Road, Ditton, on or after 15th December 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the railway bridge, between the hours of 07:00 and 16:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Kiln Barn Road, New Road, A20 London Road, New Road, High Street, The Rocks Road, Easterfields, Kiln Barn Road and vice versa.
Long Mill Lane, Plaxtol, TN11 9SF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Long Mill Lane, Plaxtol, on or after 6th December 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Allens Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Long Mill Lane, The Street, School Lane, Hamptons Road, Dunks Green Road, Long Mill Lane and vice versa.
Priory Grove, Ditton, ME20 6BA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Priory Grove, Ditton, on or after 2nd December 2025 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 54. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic, access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.
Rochester Road, Burham, ME1 3SS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage cleansing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Rochester Road, Burham, on or after 15th December 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with Scarborough Lane to the junction with Downsview, between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Rochester Road, New Court Road, Village Road, Peters Bridge Roundabout, Hall Road, Knowle Road, Rochester Road and vice versa.
Victoria Road, Golden Green (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Victoria Road, Golden Green, on or after 4th December 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside property number 44, for a distance approximately 610 metres in a North direction, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Victoria Road, Court Lane, A26 High Street, A26 Tonbridge Road, A26 Hadlow Road East, Three Elm Lane, Victoria Road and vice versa.
Vigo Hill, Trottiscliffe, ME19 5ER (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Vigo Hill, Trottiscliffe, on or after 18th December 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in its entirety. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Taylors Lane, Ford Lane, A20 London Road, Wrotham Heath Roundabout, A20 London Road, A227 Gravesend Road and vice versa.
Wateringbury Road, East Malling, ME19 6JF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Wateringbury Road, East Malling, on or after 7th December 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with The Heath, for a distance approximately 857 metres in a North direction, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Wateringbury Road, Chapel Street, High Street, New Road, A20 London Road, B2246 Hermitage Lane, B2246 Fountain Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, Red Hill, Wateringbury Road and vice versa.
