Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
B2027 Clinton Lane, Bough Beech, TN8 7NR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2027 Clinton Lane, Bough Beech, on or after 7th December 2025 for up to 1 night between 01.00hrs and 04.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Open View Farm and Chiddingstone House.
The alternative route is via B2027 Clinton Lane/Chequers Hill, Hever Road, Uckfield Lane, Cowden Pound Road, B2026 Hartfield Road, A264 Colestock Road, East Grinstead Road/Watch Oak Hill/Ashurst Hill/Ashurst Road, B2188 Fordcombe Road/Spring Hill/Saints Hill/New Road/High Street, B276 Penshurst Road/Penshurst Lane, B2027 Hildenborough Road/Stocks Green Road/Rings Hill, Watts Cross Road, B245 London Road, Weald Interchange/A225 Riverhill/Tonbridge Road, A225 High Street, A224 London Road, A224 Amherst Hill, London Road Roundabout, A25 The Square, A25 Worships Hill/Westerham Road/Main Road/High Street/Westerham Road/Vicarage Hill/ Market Square/High Street/Westerham Road, B269 Kent Hatch Road/Spout Lane/Pootings Road, B2027 Bough Beech Road and vice versa.
B2028 Marsh Green Road, Edenbridge, TN8 5QE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the replacement of one existing telegraph pole and rehang associated cabling, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2028 Marsh Green Road, Edenbridge, on or after 1st December 2025 for up to 2 days between 09:30hrs and 15:00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Greybury Lane travelling in a North Westerly direction to outside No 3.
The alternative route is via B2028 Marsh Green Road - B2028 Moor Lane - B2028 Racecourse Road - B2028 Town Hill - B2028 High Street - B2028 Plaistow Street - B2028 Newchapel Road - A22 Eastbourne Road - A22 Woodcock Hill - A22 London Road - A264 Moat Road - A264 Cranston Rad - A264 Blackwell Road - A264 Holtye Road - A264 Holtye Common - A264 Colestock Road - B2026 Hartfield Road - B2026 Stick Hill - B2026 Hartfield Road - B2028 Marsh Green Road and vice versa.
B2042 Cold Arbor Road, Sevenoaks, TN13 2PX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2042 Cold Arbor Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 3rd December 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Little Amhurst.
The alternative route is via B2024 Cold Arbor Road, B2024 Wheatsheaf Hill, B2024 Ide Hill Road, B2024 Green Lane, B2024 Ide Hill Road, B269 Pootings Road, B269 Spout Lane, B2026 Main Road, B2026 Hosey Common Road, B2026 Hosey Hill, A25 Quebec Square, A25 Brasted Road, A25 Westerham Road, A25 High Street, A25 Main Road, A25 Westerham Road and vice versa.
Bank Lane, Hildenborough, TN15 0SD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the replacement of one existing telegraph pole and rehang associated cabling, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bank Lane, Hildenborough, on or after 1st December 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Red House.
The alternative route is via Bank Lane, B245 London Road, B245 Tonbridge Road, Riding Lane, Vines Lane, Mill Lane and vice versa.
Brasted Hill Road, Brasted, TN16 1NJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the installation of a new electricity supply for a customer, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Brasted Hill Road, Brasted, on or after 15th December 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Willows Lodge.
The alternative route is via Brasted Hill Road, Brasted Hill, Pilgrims Way, Hogtrough Hill, Station Road, Coles Lane and vice versa.
Church Road, Hartley, DA3 8DT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of overhead UKPN line replacement works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Road, Hartley, on or after 17th December 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Rose Cottage Farm.
The alternative route is via Church Road, St Johns Lane, Ash Road and vice versa.
Church Road, Sundridge, TN14 6DH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a new electricity supply for a customer, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Road, Sundridge, on or after 3rd December 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 14.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 25.
The alternative route is via A25 Main Road, New Road, Church Road and vice versa.
Claremont Road, Hextable, BR8 7RJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of BT pole replacement, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Claremont Road, Hextable, on or after 15th December 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Mansfield Road and Rowzill Road.
The alternative route is via St Davids Road, B258 Top Dartford Road, B258 Main Road, College Road, Malyons Road, Claremont Road and vice versa.
Grassy Lane, Sevenoaks, TN13 1PW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of sewer repairs, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Grassy Lane, Sevenoaks, on or after 5th December 2025 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 16.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Hopgarden Lane.
The alternative route is via Grassy Lane, Burntwood Road, Ashgrove Road, Oak Lane and vice versa.
Lockskinners, Chiddingstone & Wilderness Lane, Hever, TN8 7NA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lockskinners, Chiddingstone and Wilderness Lane, Hever, on or after 1st December 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The roads will be closed between Mill Lane and Rectory Lane.
The alternative route is via Lockskinners, Wilderness Lane, Cowden Pound Road To Truggers Lane, Truggers Lane To Grove Road, Hoath Corner To Oakenden Lane, Hoath Corner, Ryewell Hill, Wellers Town Road, The Village and vice versa.
Lower Green, Leigh, TN11 8RS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of an electrical service upgrade, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lower Green, Leigh, on or after 15th December 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Fleur De Lis.
The alternative route is via B2027 High Street - B2027 Penhurst Road - B2176 Morden Lane - B2176 Station Hill - B2176 Penhurst Road - B2176 Rogues Hill - B2176 Penshurst Road - Haysden Lane - Ensfield Road and vice versa.
Lullingstone Lane, Eynsford, DA4 0HY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of tree cutting to keep branches away from power lines, ensuring safe and reliable electricity supplies, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lullingstone Lane, Eynsford, on or after 1st December 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.00hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Oak River House and the Roman Villa.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Lullingstone Lane, Eynsford, DA4 0HY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a detailed examination of the rail over road bridge, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lullingstone Lane, Eynsford, on or after 4th December 2025 for up to 1 night between 22.00hrs and 06.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed 20m either side of the bridge.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
New Road, Sundridge, TN14 6DQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the repair of four defective fire hydrant boxes, frame and covers, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of New Road, Sundridge, on or after 15th December 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Church Street and Birchfield.
The alternative route is via New Road, A25 Main Road, Church Road and vice versa.
Otford Lane, Halstead, TN14 7EF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Otford Lane, Halstead, on or after 18th December 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Somerfield and Otford Lane Mission Church.
The alternative route is via Otford Lane, Shoreham Road, Shoreham Lane, Badgers Mount Roundabout, A224 London Road, A224 Polhill and vice versa.
Parkgate Road, Orpington, BR6 7PY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage cleansing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Parkgate Road, Orpington, on or after 16th December 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the Overpass to outside Parkgate House.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Ridge Way, Edenbridge, TN8 6AU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ridge Way, Edenbridge, on or after 1st December 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 5.
The alternative route is via Ridge Way, Pit Lane, Swan Lane, Swan Ridge and vice versa.
The Village, Chiddingstone, TN8 7AH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Village, Chiddingstone, on or after 5th December 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Mill Lane and St Mary The Virgin.
The alternative route is via The Village, Hampkins Hill Road, Wellers Town Road, Ryewell Hill, Hoath Corner, Hoath Corner To Oakenden Lane, Truggers Lane To Grove Road, Grove Road, B2188 Fordcombe Road, B2188 High Street, B2176 Penshurst Road, B2176 Station Hill, B2176 Moorden Lane, B2027 Tonbridge Road, B2027 Chequers Hill, Mill Lane, Hill Hoath Road and vice versa.
Well Hill, Orpington, BR6 7PL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Well Hill, Orpington, on or after 2nd December 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Well Hill House and Pump Lane.
The alternative route is via Firmingers Road, Rock Hill, Well Hill and vice versa.
