C5058 Burneside, Kendal - Temporary Road Closure due to Utility Works

WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS COUNCIL (C5058 BURNESIDE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the C5058 Burneside, from its junction with Station Road, extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 50 metres.

A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times and a suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the C5057 Hollins Lane, A591, C5058 Winter Lane.

The Order will come into operation on 8th December 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 5 days and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
