HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 4ydd Rhagfyr 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau ar 4ydd  Rhagfyr 2025, gan weithredu rhwng 08:30 – 15:00.  

2. Mae'r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol er mwyn gwneud gwaith yn clirio llystyfiant mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Bydd mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.  

3. Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau dros dro ran o Dir Comin Barecroft, Magwyr, Sir Fynwy, ~155m i’r gorllewin o’r gyffordd gyda Heol Redwick am ~310m.  

4. Bydd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: Tir Comin Barecroft, Heol Redwick, Heol Casnewydd, A4810 Cyfnewidfa Magwyr, Ffordd Mynediad Gwaith Dur A4810 ac i'r gwrthwyneb

5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Tir Comin Barecroft, Magwyr, Sir Fynwy 2025.  

6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(BARECROFT COMMON, MAGOR, MONMOUTHSHIRE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025  


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Intends to make an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1. The Order shall come into operation on the 4th December 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 4th December 2025, operating between 08:30 – 15:00.  

2. The order is necessary for Vegetation removal works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.  

3. The effect of the order will be to temporarily close a section of Barecroft Common, Magor, Monmouthshire , ~155m west from its junction with Redwick Road for ~310m.  

4. A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows:- Barecroft Common, Redwick Road, Newport Road, A4810 Magor Interchange, Steelworks Access Road A4810 and vice versa.  

5. This order may be cited as the Barecroft Common, Magor, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025  

6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
