What is happening?
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (WESTFIELD DRIVE ESTATE, WOODLEY) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) NOTICE 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to introduce a 20mph Speed Limit Zone for the following roads in both directions for their entire lengths: Ashdown Avenue, Bowland Road, Sherwood Road, Savernake Road, Needwood Road, Delamere Close, Charnwood Road, Westfield Drive, Northdown Avenue, Clough Meadow, Boundary Close.
Full details of these proposals are set out in the draft Order which, together with the map, may be obtained from Stockport Legal Services, Town Hall Stockport SK1 3XE.
