What is happening?

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 14th November 2025, the Highway Authority being satisfied that access to the said road should be prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be carried out on or near the road.
The effect of the Order, which came into effect on 14th November 2025, is to temporarily close Wynyard Road, Wolviston, from its junction with Mill Lane in a westerly direction for approximately 75 metres, at such times as signs are erected to notify users of the closure.
The Order may continue in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. Alternative routes will be signed on site. Pedestrian access will be maintained, access for emergency service vehicles will not be maintained.
