OLDHAM METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - BUS STOP CLEARWAY NOTICE
The Oldham Borough Council give notice under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002 that 24 hour Bus Stop Clearways will be introduced on:-
Elm Road, Hollinwood, east side 236 metres north of its junction with Acacia Road 23 metres northerly
Oldham Road, Grasscroft north-west side 32.7 metres north east of Beechfield for 23 metres north-easterly
Ashton Road East, Failsworth north-east side 30 metres south east of Douglas Street for 23 metres south-easterly
Lees New Road south east side from 80 metres south west of its junction with the northern end of Wildmoor Avenue for 23 metres south westerly.
Alt Lane east side from 29 metres south of Abbey Hills Road for 23 metres southerly.
Whitby Road east side from 16 metres south of Sherbourne Close for 23 metres southerly
Whitby Road west side from 12 metres north of April Close for 23 metres northerly
Huddersfield Road Austerlands north side from 1.5m east of Thorpe Lane for 23 metres easterly
Glodwick Road east side 30 metres north of Waterloo Street for 23 metres northerly
Glodwick Road north east side 54 metres north west of Roundthorn Road for 23 metres north westerly
Lees New Road -north west side 133 metres north east of Wildmoor Avenue for 23 metres north easterly
Oldham Road Grotton north side 11.5 metres east of Hillside Avenue for 23 metres easterly
Huddersfield Road north east side 9.5 metres south east of Hollins Road for 23 metres south easterly.
The Bus Stop Clearways will conform and will be signed in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Direction 2002 and will come into operation on 22nd December 2025. A plan showing the location of the Bus Stop Clearways can be inspected between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday at Spindles Oldham Telephone 0161 770 4836 Ref LJM/TO25/3
